Regular -er and -ir verbs

Do you remember how to conjugate –ar verbs? Here are the endings:

Verbs that end in –ar

·      Regular verbs that end in –er and –ir are conjugated almost the same way.

·      For –er verbs, replace all of the a’s with e’s.

·      -Ir verbs have the same endings as –er verbs except in the nosotros and vosotros forms. Here, the e’s become i’s.

Please notice that these are verbs that END in –ir; not the actual verb IR = to go. The verb to go is irregular and doesn’t follow this pattern.
